A Virtuous Woman:
Proverbs 31. Verse 10 asks, “Who can find a virtuous woman? We found one in mom every day. The scripture goes on to say, “her price is far above rubies.” I searched the internet and found that a ruby is one of 4 precious stones which include the sapphire, emerald and diamond. I found where one ruby weighed slightly over 38 carats and cost $5,860,000 or about $154,000 per carat. It is next to the diamond in toughness and strength. It reaches its melting point at 2050 degrees centigrade. The scripture says the price of a virtuous woman is far above rubies – that would be more than one. In other words the virtuous woman is priceless!
